Lenoir County Alliance for a Healthy Community

This 12-year-old group examines unmet community needs and uses information sharing and networking to solve community issues and improve health. This group is open to interested community members.

We meet every 4th Tuesday at 8:30 am at the Lenoir County Cooperative Extension Building located at 1791 NC Hwy 11 Kinston, NC 28504. The alliance does not meet in July, November, and December.

The Lenoir County Alliance for a Healthy Community seeks nominations for the Healthy Community Hero Award through a simple nomination process. A nomination form may be obtained by going to www.facebook.com/lenoircountyallianceforahealthycommunity ( note: you do not have to use Facebook to access this location) and it can be submitted to the group in an open nomination cycle. Individuals or organizations that are selected will be recognized throughout the year and this award offers the particular opportunity to recognize a diversity of important work that often goes unsung in the life of a community.
