Early Detection Screening

Annually the Wellness Center sponsors a variety of free screenings for the community. Early detection is the key to having the best possible outcome for many medical conditions. Managing many health conditions found through early detection allows for better quality of life and easier disease management.

1. Sleep Disorder Screening

Stress, constantly changing shifts in your work, and age-related sleep disturbances are just a few factors that can interfere with your ability to obtain the proper sleep you need to fully function. Sleep is vital for learning and memory, and how lack of sleep impacts our health, safety, and longevity.

2. Depression Screening

If you suspect that you might suffer from depression a self-assessment tool is available and information from the screening can be shared with your personal physician.

3. Mammogram Screening

The Lenoir County Community Breast Cancer Screening Program will provide mammograms to eligible women in Lenoir County. Call 252-522-7600 for more information and see if you qualify.

4. Colorectal Cancer Screening
