About Us
The Lenoir Hospital Foundation is a separate, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable corporation established for the support of UNC Health Lenoir and the facilities, programs, and services it offers to serve citizens of Lenoir and surrounding counties.
The Lenoir Hospital Foundation was established over forty years ago to receive and steward private donations for the purpose of enhancing patient care through support to the Hospital. It does so through grants in support of:
- Upgrades in medical technology
- Equipment purchases
- Support for campus and community scholarships
- Fund capital improvements
To recognize and show appreciation for the philanthropy of major contributors, a donor recognition wall is displayed just inside the hospital entrance. The Foundation is dedicated to attaining charitable contributions, managing these funds, and disbursing these funds for the benefit of UNC Health Lenoir.
The Foundation’s purpose is to support the mission of UNC Health Lenoir through advocacy, education, relationships, philanthropy and stewardship.
